LLANO OUTING

September 22-24 at Dos Rios Resort

Our next outing is on the Llano River at Dos Rios in Mason, TX.    Jim Gray, creator of the Llanolope fly and an expert on fishing the Llano will be giving our guide talk on Friday night and Saturday night dinner will be catered by Cooper’s BBQ.     Download and read the outing document for all the details.

This is a great outing to bring your entire family as they can swim, kayak and float in tubes at Dos Rios and there are tubes, kayaks and canoes for rent if you don’t own your own.

This outing will require you to book your own lodging.    There are tent sites, RV sites, cabins and Airstreams available to book and our headquarters for the weekend will be Cabin 6, right on the river!

NOTE:   Cabin 6 is our outing headquarters and there are 3 beds available for $50 a night: a queen and a twin bunk bed.   If you are interested in staying in these discounted rooms, please sign up for them in the outing registration.    

If you don’t want to stay overnight, you can come fish with us for the day on Saturday, Sunday or both!
