Fly Fish Texas provides the novice fly fisherman with great learning opportunities. In a single day, one can learn to tie a fly, cast it, and catch a fish with it. And to support Texas in its efforts to broaden the popularity of our sport, fly fishing clubs and anglers from across the state came out in force for this year's event at Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center.

This annual event always provides our club with an opportunity to share fly fishing tips and techniques and teach them to others. It also provdes us with an opportunity to make our presence known...and this year was no exception. We held a membership drive and sold flies to benefit our support for Casting for Recovery.
