Honorary Members of TWFF
Leslie Davis
Inducted September 2010
Leslie Davis is the creative editor of Fly Lines!, our TWFF newsletter. She started fishing at the age of four with her grandfather on the lakes and "tanks" of East Texas. On her first outing, she caught 17 fish and has been hooked on the sport ever since.
Leslie's outstanding contributions to our newsletter are informed by her professional experiences as a freelance advertising art director and copywriter. She owns Davis Creative, which provides freelance copy writing and art direction for advertising firms, and Active Advertising & Promotional Sales, a one-stop online shopping source for fun to traditional items for marketing and trade shows.
Leslie enjoys the opportunity to combine her professional interests with our club's communication needs. You can check out Leslie's talents at: http://www.dcreative.com and http://www.activeadvertising.biz.

We are deeply indebted to Leslie for her contributions to TWFF and our FlyLines! newsletter.

Kyle Hand
Inducted September 2010
Kyle Hand is a highly skilled artist in the world of fly tying. He learned his craft from A. K. Best, Larry Walker, Tim England, and Ray and Rhonda Sapp and for many years, honed his skills tying commercially. In 2003, Kyle began tying display salmon flies and classic bass and wet flies under the tutelage of John McLain and Paul Rossman.
Kyle dyes many of his own materials and promotes the use of traditional materials for the classic patterns he recreates. He also enjoys creating new patterns with the most up-to-the-minute materials available.
In addition to traveling the country for shows and demonstrations, Kyle teaches individual and group classes. In his spare time, he enjoys camping with his wife, Susan, and their daughters and grandchildren.

We are deeply grateful to Kyle for so generously sharing his talents, time, and materials with our club. |
